Our treasurer said that when they did something like this for the elementary school’s PTO they had to have a special license because it was considered gambling. Our receptionist called 911 immediately when the man walked toward the office area. Before the police arrived he had run out of the building, was stopped by one of our staff, the staff member took the items he had carried off. Unfortunately, he still made off with the camcorder. I am aware that this trio has hit other churches. I'm trying to find out their names as the Fridley police were able to pull up pictures and our staff was able to identify them. The man is black, the woman is white, and the child is black and appears to be 2-3 years old. Prayers for protection for all of you! I'm starting a business where I collect items from garage sales that didn't sell; I then drop them off to local non-profits. Of course to help run this business, I need tables. I'm willing to barter some kind of compensation. Ideally I would need 20-30 of either the 6 ft or 8 ft typical church basement tables. The need isn't immediate, but I wanted to get it out there as I plan to launch in Spring 2010, I'd like to have them sourced before then. I do have storage so I can take them now if that's an option.
