Avian Flu Pandemic
The possibility of a pandemic of avian flu is very real. There is the possibility that schools, church buildings and other public meeting facilities may be shut down & quarantined. Worship activities would be curtailed. For how long, no one knows, but 15 – 18 months mayn’t be out of the question. Public health officials are currently being educated about this disease and plans are being developed on how governments can help their citizens cope with the problem.

What role can church administrators & church parish nurses play in helping their churches plan for this nasty possibility?
